"This enigmatic woman was doing something like filming with something like an amateur movie camera." This sentance is too vague. —Noldoaran (Talk) 00:40, Dec 14, 2003 (UTC)
She could have been taking a photo. --andreasegde 09:15, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
The real Babushka Lady has been died for some time. My work on this subject should be publish next year. I believe the Harrision interviewed, in which he states two out-of-focus images were reviewed by Kodak personal.

The result of the proposal was move per request. Apparent proper noun nickame.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:00, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Babushka lady → Babushka Lady — This is an article about one specific person, identified by a nickname, so needs capital "L" - the present title reads as if it's about a class of people, like Tea lady. There have been previous moves between capitalisations, but capital "L" is used throughout the article, and in the first few ghits found. PamD (talk) 19:34, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Reddit: And the case of the invisible film camera.
[edit]We were recently discussing unsolved mysteries on reddit, it drew quite a bit of attention and this woman was raised. In the hundreds of photos found of her in our searches we couldn't find a single piece of evidence where she had a camera in her hands, at all. It looks like she's shielding her eyes from the sun (and it was discussed why would she shield her eyes when she's turned away from the sun as the motorcade has moved past, but many of us have stated that we'd do the same, especially with glare coming off the roadway and tracking a small moving object, so it's more reasonable to assume she's shielding her eyes than filming with an invisible camera) thus I would like to challenge the assumption she has a camera given that no evidence has been presented anywhere depicting her with a camera in her hands. She is, in every single photo and video of her, only shielding her eyes, and if she's filming with a camera it's either one of those super stealth invisible cameras, or something so insanely small it's proof of time travel. Ok, I'm being ironic, but seriously. She doesn't have a camera? At all? BaSH PR0MPT (talk) 17:40, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
2013 Film The Bystander Theory
[edit]The Bystander Theory is a decent film project on Netflix. It fictionalizes the story of the real woman. Beverly Oliver over time claimed to be this woman but her story shifted. I suspect there was a combination of reasons. Perhaps she wanted 15 minutes of fame. Perhaps she was there and did film but the facts became muddled and she was caught in various half-truths and lies over time. The Bystander Theory is an interesting though bit farcical family about a mysterious woman in Austin, Texas. "Liz Jennings" granddaughter of "Ben" and "Emma" Clayworth inherits her grandfather's home. She knows little about him. Gradually we're led to a mystery that revolves around the woman known as Babushka Lady. Emma Clayworth is said to be that lady. She allegedly goes to Dallas to see the President and captures the film. She's murdered by her husband accidentally when a gun he brandishes at himself while in a drunken stupor goes off and the bullet enters her after she returns from Dallas. The rest of the story flows away from and back to Dealey Plaza as a AM radio commentator from Austin becomes her "partner in crime" and she meets a man she's attracted to who ends up being a worthless, no good attorney, son of the Clayworth attorney. The family name conveniently was Kilgore, that being both of a famous family and town in Texas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dfwenigma (talk • contribs) 21:48, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
